BOOKINGS

• Once we have mutually agreed a date, time, venue, type of event, number of clients, a fee for our services and settled upon any other individual specific requests, we will email you an invoice. We need to receive a non-refundable deposit of £30 within 48 hours of sending out an invoice to secure your booking.

• Once received, we will send you confirmation of your payment. We politely request the remainder to be paid in full, in cash at the end of our attendance to your event. 

• We’re really sorry that McGorgeous Face & Body Art does not accept payments by cheque or card, although bank transfers and PayPal are more than  welcome if agreed in advance.
  
   

CANCELLATIONS​

• Cancellation of bookings must be made in writing to info@mcgorgeous.co.uk

• Although our hearts will go out to you, should you find yourself in the unfortunate position where you have to cancel your booking for any reason, we’re afraid your 20% deposit will not be returned.

• Should your cancellation occur within 24 hours of your booking date, we cannot return your deposit and we will require you to pay the full outstanding amount within 48 hours of you notifying us of your cancellation.

• Should your cancellation occur with more than 24 hours notice but less than 7 days notice, we cannot return your deposit. If you wish to reschedule your event and we are available on your new date, we will be happy to honour that date for an additional £20 fee and will re-issue a new invoice to confirm your new booking.

• Should your cancellation occur with 7 or more days notice, once again, we cannot return your deposit. If you wish to reschedule your event and we are available on your new date, we will be happy to honour that date for no additional fee and will re-issue a new invoice to confirm your new booking.

• Here at McGorgeous Face & Body Art, we pride/prize ourselves upon our punctuality record. However, if we were ever to find ourselves ‘tardy for the party’ due to circumstances outside of our control, for example (but not limited to) due to public transport diversions, restricted parking access, difficulty accessing the venue, etc, whilst the booked artist is not obligated to, they are entitled to use their personal discretion to compensate that loss of entertainment time by adding on extra service time at the end of the booking if they so choose to do so. We not only prize our artistic talent but also our outstanding customer service skills too. 

• And finally, if in the unthinkable situation McGorgeous Face & Body Art ever has to cancel a booking with you, we will fully refund your deposit and at our own discretion, explore non-compulsory compensation with you.

GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION

In line with Europe’s new framework for data protection laws on May 25th 2018, we want you to know that we may store basic general information about you in order to assist us in providing a more efficient and relevant service that caters to your needs adequately. In order to follow up enquiries, keep you updated about company news and service developments or to simply let you know of any promotional discounts available, we may ask you to provide us with;

 

Your/your children’s name

Address

Date of birth

Email & contact number 

Permission to take photographs for publicity purposes of you/and your children

 

Any of your details stored electronically will be kept secure through up to date password protected encrypted software. 

 

Your details will never be passed on to our partners or other third parties without your consent. We hasten to add, that neither would we dream of selling your personal information to other companies.

 

Should our security systems ever be breeched, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible and we would also be obligated to inform the Information Commissioners Office (the UK’s independent regulatory authority) within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.

 

If you ever grant permission by completing our Model Release forms for our artists to take a photo of you/your child after having been adorned by them for publicity or marketing purposes, you also have the equal right to withdraw that permission at a later date.
